• Comment: First off, I live 270 miles away from Kettering Heating & Air...yet my mother lives next door. When my parents built their home under 8 years ago, my father insisted that KH&A's competitor install their furnace...because dad had a working relationship with the former owner dating back to the 1970's. Well, that competitor didn't hook up all the duct work, installed a part backwards, and charged more than I thought they should.
  On my last visit to my mother's house, the A/C system wasn't as cool as it should have been, and the house was humid. Mom called the installing company out for a check-up, and they quoted a price for a part that was staggering...and the guy refused to look my mother or me in the eye as he quoted the price. I went over to KH&A, and talked with Jerry and Sandra about the price their competitor quoted my mom...and was told that the part should have been covered under a 10 warranty...which was not given to my parents.
  After talking with them, they went over and checked it out...then repaired the system for roughly half of what their competitor quoted.
  Beyond that, when the wind storms (remnants of Hurricane Ike) of 2008 hit in September of 2008, and knocked out my parent's power, Jerry and Sandra of Kettering Heating & Air were kind enough to loan my dad a generator to power his oxygen machine and refrigerator, which was needed to keep his medications cold. They did this because they are kind and good folks.
  I will always suggest Kettering Heating & Air to my friends in the Miami Valley. They not only made a customer for life, they have given me peace of mind that my mother is being cared for by her neighbors.
  I only wish I could give a review of more than 5 stars...they deserve 500 stars! Honest folks, great company, great service, and great neighbors to my mom. Thanks for taking care of her for me.
