It turns out that I had a damper that was broken and was not getting heat to my two upstairs bedrooms and they also found a duct that had some leakage. I thought it was going to cost me a lot of money to correct the issue but they did not try to sell me things that were not needed. It is nice knowing that.

    " McAfee Heating and Air gave my 86-year old mom a quote of $1,200 – LABOR ONLY – for a 3-4 hour job of replacing her heat exchanger (the part was under warranty).

    " Very happy with these guys. Previously used one of their competitors (huge company; they sell a pricey maintenance plan and charged a lot for everything). Have used Kettering twice now. They’ve never tried to sell me any membership or maintenance plans.
    Charges seem much more reasonable than the other guys (under $300 both visits; other guys charged me $300 to swap out a thermostat that I later found I could get from Home Depot for $50–they charged $200 just for the part and $100 to switch it out, which took 15 min).
